I've got a couple of questions about working with distributors:

(1) We are using a custom generator, which means that keys have to be generated at point-of-sale. A distributor would presumably notify us of a sale, and we would generate a license key using License Tracker. We would use the Import > Sales feature of License Tracker to generate transaction documents from the email the distributor sends us. Is this correct?

(2) Let's say we dropped the custom generator, so that we could pre-generate keys for distributors. In License Tracker, how would we check to see which of the pregenerated keys have been issued by the distributor, and which are still held by the distributor?

Yes you can do this provided the distributor sends you email notifications with attachments containing the sale details.

If you use pre-generated keys then License Tracker maintains a record of which keys have been generated and issued to a distributor (and if they have been sold). You can view and filter these in the “License Keys” tab of License Tracker.
