Hi,

we are looking for possibility to generate license keys using ASP.NET, but not License Tracker. We need to generate license in connection with web registration and send it to customer without human interference.

Is it possible?

Yes you can certainly do this. When you purchase ILS we provide the source code for the licensing classes (EncryptedLicense and EncryptedLicenseProvider). It is then very easy to include these classes directly in your ASP.NET application and use the EncryptedLicenseProvider.GenerateKey method to generate licenses.

You can actually use the evaluation Infralution.Licensing DLL to generate keys (from either Windows Forms or ASP.NET) however we have recently discovered an issue when calling this from ASP.NET applications that do not have Full Trust. We will be releasing a fix for this in the next week.

We will also be releasing a new product (IPN.NET) in the next 2 weeks which will provide an ASP.NET server application which interfaces with PayPals IPN payment mechanism to automatically issue licenses. This is likely to be in the $60 to $80 price range.

I tried to use EncryptedLicenseProvider with success. It does everything in the way I need. May be this week we buy full version.
