|
|
Hello,
We used Infralution licensing in our component suite. We'll now create a new minor version of our suite. We want to be able to provide a new trial period for elder installers of our product with this new build (Let's say we have 15 days evaluation time and with this new installation we want to surpass the elder evaluation situation, whether it's expired or still in the evaluation period, and provide a new 15 days evaluation to that person).
How can we do this?
Thanks,

Simply change the ProductID that you use when you create the EvaluationMonitor class - this will mean the evaluation period for the new version is completely separate. _________________ Infralution Support |

Hello,
I need further clarification on this...
When I change the product password which I use to construct the Monitor class, this should give another trial period to the user...But I'll continue using my original product password for providing the serial keys so no change will occur on the serial keys we already assigned to our customers right?
Regards,

That's right. You should definitely not be using the product password that you use to generate you keys as the product ID that you pass to the EvaluationMonitor constructor. The product password you use to generate keys should not be included anywhere in the code you ship. _________________ Infralution Support |
