Hi,
I have shared my credit card processing from ShareIt to a system I developed myself that stores all sales in a SQL Server database. I am now trying to get them to export to the License Tracker so I can combine everything in one place.
Is there any documentation available on the XML format used to define sales imports? I am thinking that the easist thing for me to do is generate a CSV file.
Thanks,

OK,
A little further info. It turns out that I can pretty easily generate XML files, but I have one problem.
I have one table with a list of customers and their data. A second with a list of purchases including the item purchased, the price payed and the license code generated. I can easily generate a simple join of the tables and produce an XML report, but it will have one line per purchase, even if the same customer purchased multiple things.
Will the importer recognize this and combine the purchases onto one customer if the customer data is identical? If not, do you have any suggestions?
Thanks,

The importer identifies customers by their email address - so provided that the email address is the same the purchases will be assigned to the same customer.
There documentation is a little sparse at the moment - we intend to fix this. In the meantime have a look at the XML for importing the ShareIt files and if you have any questions please ask - or post a copy of the format you want to import. _________________ Infralution Support |
