|
|
Hi,
Small bug.. not major, but can be a bit disconcerting..
After adding a "Product", the new product does not visibly show in the product listing, even after pressing the refresh button, or going to another tab and revisiting the products tab. You can, however, generate a license for this "invisible" product as it is listed in the dropdown box.
If you shut down the license tracker and restart it, the new application shows up in the listing fine.
Regards,

Are you sure that the new product is not just scrolled off the top of the list. That's what happens when we tried this on the current release version and added a product that would be listed (sorted) above the currently visible products. We will change the license tracker to ensure that newly added products are visible (ie not scrolled out of sight) _________________ Infralution Support |

nope wasn't scrolled out of sight.. kind of hard to generate a scroll where there is only one item in the list to start with anyway.

We can't replicate this. Can you tell us your operating system, installed versions of .NET framework and the version of ILS you have installed. _________________ Infralution Support |

Hi,
weird stuff...
anyway .. most of the version information you request are in the other thread (On the licence key generator giving an unhandled exception)
Windows XP Professional SP2 with all latest updates from live update.
.NET version 1.1 framework, build 1.1.4322.573
Assembly version of Infralution is hot-off-the-website yesterday, and is reporting as version 2.2.3.0
For development, using Visual Studio 2003.
(Would be using 2005, but my MSDN download manager keeps crashing mid-transfer so only ever get half of the first ISO !)
Cheers,

We are still unable to replicate this. Does this happen when you have no previous products added? If you have one product added and then add another you can end up with a scrollbar because Virtual Tree maintains the current top row item.
Do you have versions of Virtual Tree and Virtual Data Objects also installed - if so which version? This shouldn't matter - but just want to explore every possibility. _________________ Infralution Support |

Hiya,
I do have Virtual Tree installed, version 2.5.1 (dll version reports as 2.5.1.0).
I'm not able to replicate the problem now though, but it's possible it was a transient issue... I simply reported it as soon as I encountered it.
Will keep playing around to see if it crops up again.
Regards,
Leland |
