I use ILS 5.11.2 to create authenticated licenses. Standalone database. I added a new product. Do I need to configure the authentication server with Install.aspx or just configure the product settings using the Authentication->Configure Server menu in License Tracker? I'm confused about this and I don't want to mess everything up. Thank you. |

You don't need to run the Install.aspx again (you only need to run this if you want to change your database configuration or are upgrading). You just need to run the Configure Server. If you are still actively using ILS then we strongly recommend that you consider upgrading to version 6. It actually has some features that help in this area - if you make any changes to products that mean you should configure the Authentication Server then it reminds you to do that. _________________ Infralution Support |

OK One more question: I have three files in my distribution list that probably are leftovers of previous versions of ILS. I would like to know if they can be safely removed from my application. These files are AssemblyLoaderx86.dll, msvcp100.dll, msvcr100.dll. Thank you. |

Those three files are required for .NET Encryptor. If you are using .NET Encryptor then you will need to keep them in your distribution. _________________ Infralution Support |
