I have a tool I make for AutoCad, and for Bricscad, and am testing it on a machine that has no programming stuff installed, like a typical user here.
When I run the tool in acad, the dialog shows with the vtree and no reg message.
The one in Bcad is saying unregistered.
I am compiling these from the same set of code, at the same time on my machine, after deleting both the obj folder and the bin\release\ folders.
I checked the .lic file is there for both solutions.
I do not think there is anything on the test machine causing the vtree to be registered, its likely something with my solution.
Is there anything else to check what's going on? I even bought your source code a while back but have not looked at the reg mechanism.

I managed to get things working. I had forgot to check the FAQ for addiotnal info and noticed it mentioned where the license is stored - appdata for all users.
So renamed the license folder, deleted obj and debug folders, and compiled.
That did the trick. Hope this helps others if they run into it. _________________ James M |
