Another customer reported this issue again. (using 2.0.4)

Can you provide the SPECIAL dll, which you mentioned in the previous reply of this thread? So I can send user a DEBUG package to install.

User is using:

Microsoft Security Essentials 2.1.1116.0

They also told me the shutdown problem doesn't happen again.

I suspect the first time they told me they still have issue with 2.0.4 was ...

My co-worker told me that after user turn off anti-virus, it seems fine now.

1. user is running Windows 7 64 bit.

3. just got the info: it gets improved after upgrade to 2.0.4. (so it does crash everytime. great news! ^_^)

After switching to PNG format and use DrawImage instead, the getting slower issue is gone! Nice!

I think I've found the cause. if I comment out the following code:

// graphics.DrawIcon(icon, iconBounds);

The problem disappeared. So, it's not a VirtualTree issue.

I took a further study ...
