I have a recursive (DataSet) relationship that creates a hierarchy of categories. The leaves of these categories have detail items. So, there's a recursive relationship among the rows of table1 and ...

PostForum: Virtual Tree Support   Posted: Tue Dec 07, 2010 11:16 pm   Subject: FindRow(path).Path != path
It looks like the problem was in updating children. I'm performing a custom drag/drop and the tree appeared to recognize the new DataRow (i.e., it displayed it in the right place). However, the chil ...

I don't suspect I'll be able to modify one of the sample projects to do this, and I don't think it will be easy to create one from scratch.

I might be able to narrow it down by some further investi ...

I'm using v3.15.1 with DataSet binding.

If I call FindRow with path A>B>C, the path of the found row is A>B>D.

But if I call FindRow(object) with the last item in the path, it finds ...

PostForum: Virtual Tree Support   Posted: Thu Nov 11, 2010 10:41 pm   Subject: Inadvertant Drag/Drop
I'm using 3.15.1.

And I can replicate it on the samples if I do the equivalent of rapid drag/drop, moving the mouse while clicking and releasing quickly.

So I think it depends on what you mean b ...

PostForum: Virtual Tree Support   Posted: Thu Nov 11, 2010 6:12 pm   Subject: Inadvertant Drag/Drop
I find that if I move my mouse slightly as I select a row (and the selection point is near the border between two rows), I can initiate a drag/drop (move) and not realize it, inadvertantly hiding a ro ...

Thanks. And it looks like RootRow.UpdateChildren(false, false) is sufficient.

Is some kind of redraw needed for this take effect:

dataViewCellBinding1.Format = "My Tree";

It seems to work ok when called from the tree's constructor, but not afterwards.

Thanks.

Same tree. Another FindRow problem. Again returning null. There seems to be a RootRow confusion.

The DataTable has a path: A>B>C>D>E. Where A-E represent the IDs of the associated ...
